Primary Source Program InternshipsPrimary Source in Watertown, Massachusetts, promotes history and humanities education by connecting K-12 educators to people and cultures throughout the world. We offer graduate courses, seminars, workshops, and study tours to teachers in the greater Boston area. Our work spans five world regions: Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, and the United States. Approximately 1800 teachers participate in our programs annually. We have openings for program interns during the fall of 2009. The internship offers exposure to all aspects of a small educational non-profit organization; a friendly and collegial work environment; and opportunities to help promote global education in K-12 schools. Responsibilities will include:
Skills and qualifications: Interest in global education; effective interpersonal and communication skills; ability to manage deadlines; patience; strong writing skills; ability to organize time and materials; experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); flexibility, enthusiasm and a sense of humor.
